"Very touching story about a man who befriends an innocent boy whose uncle is determined to kill him. Paul Winfield becomes very attached and puts his life on the line for a precocious French boy. Great ending. Lots of action. Really odd to see Rod Taylor as such an evil man. Emotion and action with more than one twist. " [More]

"The plot is OUTRAGEOUS. An orphan wanders up to a ranch whose owners take him in, only to find out that he's their nephew? The bad guys get theirs in the end, the good people end up rich and happy, and the orphan gets a great new home. Good moral messages, but pretty obvious. "Wonderful movie..action, romance, comedy, terrific moral message, BUT. Rampant nudity seems to keep it out of public conciousness. Maybe they can put computer generated clothing on everyone, ala Cathy Bates character. I especially like the message that the little missionary boy was the only one to assimilate into the native society; the only one who really understood them. " [More]
