Personal statement:
I am a film student who feels like i know nothing & want to learn everything-i want to be working & expressing. i have unique ideas yet at the same time i feel that everyone has a unique idea. what i mean to say is that i find it difficult to get past the i have an idea phase & take those first steps towards bringing them to the rest of the world. I want to talk & debate & interact so that the light bulb goes ding-so that I am no longer thinking, but doing! I am a writer & have several scripts & am in the process of learning the motions. Im intimidated by all the equipment & need to find other artists who are willing to teach hands on. my school is excellent yet when it comes to the equipment we kind of just get handed this mess of electronics & programs & are asked to run with it. my ideas are challenging & i don't mean to come across pretetious but i know they're orriginal & im willing to fight for them.
