"This documentry had a good start but it's lopsided political agenda became overwhelming and soon overshadowed the actual subject of the show-the machine gun. For a documentary purporting to be about machine guns it spent an awful amount of time delivering a thinly veiled attack on western countries and capitalism in general and how these weapons have been used to 'supress the masses'. Also the documetary is poorly researched in parts, with facts seemingly pulled from popular culture for eg. It's well known that Hugo Schmeisser did not have anything to do with the design the MP38 or MP40, but this show states that he was its designer. Many other inaccuracies, here's just a couple; calling the Avenger on the A10 Warthog a 'minigun', making you believe that the machine gun caused most causulties in WW1 (artillery caused most causulties here) and it keeps going, absolutely terrible research.
