"Art & Copy: I saw this at Sundance and was actually very intrigued. It's been a while since I saw it, but I found it fascinating much in the way that "Helvetica" caught my attention. That said, I also found it more interesting since I have friends at some of the various companies profiled, such as Chiat Day, and could connect more. I'm really wanting to see Afghan Star, though. From all of the people that I talked to while at the festival (and boy do those people in line love to talk) this doc was the one that the most people brought up in a positive way. Since I missed my chance at the festival I guess I'll have to wait for the June 26th release in NYC. Has anyone else seen it? " [More]

"Afghan Star, the documentary that won the World Cinema Documentary audience and directing awards this year, is being released in NYC on June 26th. Has anyone had a chance to see it yet-- preview screening, festival screening, or otherwise? I'm excited to finally get a chance to see it.
