Re: Best Zombie Film Ever
By NickP in Zombie Obsession
"well, in 28 weeks later......... you could see some zombies running around that were literally missing sections of their torso... even when the helicopter tore some apart... they were moving on the ground.... ow, if they were a rabid human, they would still go by the rules of normal human mortality... meaning, you get chopped in half, your dead.... they were clearly not dead... so, that's why I go towards "zombie".... I don't beleive it was ever stated that they were dead or alive..... but, does it matter? The infected are don't die before coming rabid, but I don' t think that should exclude them from being zombies..... I think once they are infected, there body transforms instantly from being human, to not functioning normaly..... " [More]

"IDk, I consider 28 (insert time span here) a zombie movie.... they are not alive, they feed on normal human flesh, and can survive even if most of their body is torn off.... my vote.... has to go to.... Shaun of the Dead, and the remake of Dawn of the Dead... I really enjoy the original Night, and Dawn... but, they haven't aged well....... Day is okay, and Land was pure garbage...... " [More]

Re: Filmspotting #160: 28 Weeks ...
By NickP in Filmspotting
"I saw it this afternoon, and really enjoyed it.... The action was intense, I liked the plot, and fel the acting is where it should be.... I perfer this film to 28 days later, the sequel kept me entertained, while the orginal, while good, felt like it dragged on for 30 minutes too long... and Cillian Murphy's transformation into a hero at the end, didn't fit his charafter arch at all, IMO...
