Personal statement:

I absolutely love movies!!! My whole family are all a bunch of movie freaks as well. When we all watch a movie together we cannot go wtihout playing our little game "What did he/or she play in" when we recognize someone in a movie. And trust me there is not one movie that we have seen that we do not recognize an actor so we are always playing that little game. And I am always the one that usually gets it. And all of my sisters are a bunch of sore losers so they get on IMDB to see If I am right or not. I enjoy all types of movies, but my favorite genres would have to be horror,comedy,thriller,drama,suspense. Dont really care for western movies or sci-fi movies that much.

"i loved this movie!!! i did not think I was going to enjoy a movie like Pan's Labyrinth, since it was all in Spanish and english subs. I actually hate movies that are in Spanish or any other language that is not english the whole way through, because I cannot enjoy the movie without reading the stupid subs at the bottom of the screen. And I feel like I am missing out on the movie. But anyways this movie scared the shit out of me when the thing that had eyes in his hands started chasing her from the result of her eating the two grapes. It was an adult fairtale pretty much. And it had a very nice ending too. I love how the movie kept you guessing on what was going to happen next. And when you think the movie is going to end there is about thirty more minutes until it actually ends. Very magical and supenseful at the same time. Definately not a movie for young children. "Tideland is by far one the most screwed up movies I have ever seen, and I have seen alot of screwed up movies in the past but this one definitely takes the cake. This movie reminding me of a very horrifying accident, you dont want to watch but you just cant take your eyes off of it. And the only reason I stayed interested in the movie was because I thought that it was going to make some kind of sense towards the end of the movie. And i felt so sorry for the poor little girl in this movie. Such a talented little actress and all I could keep thinking about is what kind of parents would let their child play a role in a sick and twisted movie like this. I dont want to give anything away for those who plan on watching this movie so I will stop with that. To sum it all up,If Marilyn Manson ever made a disney movie for kids, Tideland would definitely be it. " [More]
