"Despite the enthusiastic name of this group, I feel like "introducing myself" is unnecessary and irrelevant. I joined this website because I found many of its features to be helpful and innovative. I enjoy thought-provoking movies, clever plots, twist endings, and witty comedies. I fancy just about any movie that makes me forget I'm watching over-paid actors recite some over-paid screen writer's script. It bothers me that movies are often classified as "good" or "bad." We forget that there are almost 7 billion very DIFFERENT people occupying this massive planet. From movies to people to jobs to political views, human beings always seem to catapult things into very confined and very ineffectual catagories and stereotypes. I guess movies help me escape my pessimistic thoughts for two hours(or so) and relocate me to a brief alternate reality. I'm hoping to find people with similar tastes in movies so that I can discover more films I enjoy. " [More]
