DOOMSDAY
"I really think global climate change (The Day After Tomorrow (2006)) or an asteriod, as you said, will do us in, but I s'pose I'll mention supervolcanic eruptions. You know, like Yellowstone Caldera (recently active), which is decidedly way more interesting than global warming. We'd expect volcanic winter and/or a swarm of hypercanes, depending on location and size, resulting in the extinction or mass bottlenecking of the human race. Past eruptions here and the VEI here. Oooo, yay. "

"Old Dr. No film + a few rip offs of storyline and shot techniques from The Bourne Ultimatum = mild entertainment. The end. "

Introduce Yourself
"Patrick here. 24 year-old analyst from Texas. I'm a music fanatic who's having an affair with film on the side. Occasionally I pick up a book or throw together some amazing (riiight) creative writing. I found Spout through Google. Was simply looking for a movie everything site. Looks like I found it. (Yay!) So... movies... Even though no particular genre could really encompass everything I like about film, my favorite flicks typically have new ideas/approaches, witty storytelling, and attention to detail in them. As of late, I've been getting into movies with art deco, dark, experimental, and retro-futuristic styles. I love to talk during movies, predict things that may happen, get smug when I'm right, and be disappointed or surprised when I'm wrong. If anybody has any recommendations or would like to discuss a certain movie, please shoot me a message. I am fueled by recommendations! Good to be here with you fellow Spouters! "Unforgetable action flick with witty one-liners and an unlikely marriage. Several big-name actors before hitting it big, with each one putting on a great show. Highly recommended. Tarantino shining on. "

"I watched this movie in one of my Russian language classes a few months ago. It's definitely a drama with love, envy, regret, and honor all playing key roles in it. It's so amazing how Kotov has a positive outlook on life the whole way through, considering his situation. And the ending is one I'll never forget. If you're a fan of foreign films, this isn't one to miss. "

"One of my favorite scenes was the one in the wine cellar. Classic Bruce. It was also good to see the FBI again overpowering a "higher" organization like the NSA. However, like the All Movie Guide review, I'd say this story does have some holes in it, which I wouldn't want to spoil. But overall, it was worth watching. "

"Good: Lightly entertaining, perhaps? The tiger in the back seat was genius! That's about it. Bad: The ending chase scene took up seemingly half of the film and was unrealistic with a million cop cars destroyed for one stang they couldn't halt. Horrible acting by most all cast members. Voice-oversdidn't always match, as well. The list goes on... "

"In order to add a movie to "Films I've seen", I've had to go to the movies' pages directly and choose "I've seen it"... or go through all my movies after rating them and choose "I've seen it" (which was tedious). For a while I thought it would automatically do this while rating movies in a list (e.g. for an actor, director.) I mean, if somebody rates a movie, doesn't that mean they've already seen it? Basically what I'm trying to say is a movie should be put in the "Film's I've seen" automatically no matter where you rate it on the site. Whaddya think? Thanks. Spout rocks! "
