"Maria in Metropolis (1927). http://lolbots.com/wordpress/w p-content/uploads/2007/06/metr opolis-maria-lumps.jpg [quote user="Tizzy"] Ullysses in Making Mr. Right was the best android ever played by John Malkovich - also counts as a sexbot, though he did malfunction when over stimulated. [quote user="mphmuse"] The 6th Day (2000) Michael Rapaport's character can beam in his lady friend. [quote user="Tizzy"] In keeping with the fembots/sexbots/gynoids and the like, Cherry 2000, with Melanie Griffith, was all about retrieving a replacement 'bot somewhere in no man's land. "the lack of response to this thread worries me. does this mean no one has an emergency escape plan? frightening. [quote user="mphmuse"] three days in a row I had the same conversation--what would do you if the zombies attacked? the better version of the question--what WILL you do when the zombies attack? i always think that i can out run them and hope that some sort of flame torch falls out of the sky in my hands. "I don't think anything happened in this movie. It picked up where Casino Royale ended but I think Quantum of Solace was the limbo stage between Casino and the next Bond film. "

Introduce Yourself
"hi there, my name is mary. it is a pleasure to meet you all! my favorite movie is Harold and Maude versus Punk Drunk Love versus Rushmore. they are all sort of tied for first right now. i like making and watching movies. i love reading scripts. i've worked at film festivals before and love attending them! i currently work at a startup in san francisco working very hard to create an awesome film recommendation site for people who really love movies. the "coming soon" movie that i am most excited about is THE ROAD. my favorite film blogs include: The Playlist, The Daily Plastic, My New Plaid Pants, and the Film Experience. thanks for the welcome! cheers, mp "
