MEDITATE AND DESTROY is an 81 minute feature documentary about punk rock, spirituality and inner rebellion. This compelling documentary focuses on the author of Dharma Punx and Against the Stream, Noah Levine. The film provides a dynamic and intimate portrait of how Noah changed his lifestyle from drug addict and alcoholic to a devout Buddhist. Tattoos, motorcycles, and an engaging punk rock soundtrack are featured in this powerful look at how Buddhism has a place in the world of punks.

"We're excited to be a part of this festival! As for the rooting for the underdog, I think the mission of FHTA is to dispel myths about indie film distribution. it's a misperception that because a film has played in a major film festival that it is going to garner critical reviews, secure distribution, and reach audiences worldwide. This simply isn't true for the majority of films that get into Tier 1 festivals. So, it can be argued that films that play in larger festivals are still amongst the Underdog Set vs. the Indiewood Bunch. " [More]
