"the visuals are some of the best ever. the ideas are great as well. its deffinetly a serious film with no attempt at comody. but its still not that great on the development of charectors. we dont really get to see them live. it just starts out assuming we know the charectors. because of this,we arent so able to feel so much sympathy for the charectors. if you ever saw the promise, its kind-of like that except better. this is a little more belivable than the promise though. still, its very very good. i'd recomend this to any martial arts fantasy lover. but theres not as much action as you'd expect. its allright though. especially the end when he battles scores of armys. not at all belevable but still awsome. the musics great to. but some music doesnt exactly match the scene. its still a great movie though. and i'd recomend it. "i whatched the trailer for this and thought it would be great. sadly its not the case. theres a story but they explain everything in the begining and the rest of the movie is basicly nothing. theres great fight sequences and great visuals. but in the begining theres a short comody peice that nearly ruins the film, involving a cat and mouse game in fast motion with dumb music. speaking of music, this music for the most part was interesting. they make use of a french accordian that (though it sound odd) works really well for this movie. there are unrealistic charectors but toward the end theres at least some emotional scenes and charector development. good to rent but see it before you buy it. trust me.
