"
OK... I'm sure many of you could see this coming... One of the staples of many great Horror Films has been 'gratuitous female nudity'... So what was the best? There have always been certain 'scream queens' who, it would seem, love to get naked at every opportunity! You can check out every inch of Misty Mundae in several movies like "Screaming Dead". Or Nastassja Kinski in "To The Devil, A Daughter" and others. I would be 'hard' pressed (Iknow...groan) to call "Hard To Die" a 'horror' movie... it is more of a 'gratuitous-female-nudity' movie! You get the idea... I think, for me, the winner would be... "ZOMBIE" ! (this movie just keeps 'popping up' in here... I know... groan again...) I know this is mostly one for the guys, but let me know what you think...
My favorite scene with nudity, although it isn't horror, is in Wild Things. The movie itself was alright. When Denise Richards is topless, all troubles seem to ... " [More]

"
I'm not really not sure if this would qualify as a horror movie, but The Monster in No Such Thing for sure! Otherwise either Jack Torrence in The Shining, Raymond Lemorne in The Vanishing, or the truck in Duel.
Thanks for the idea Risselada, I'm gonna check out "No Such Thing." I think many of us are going to...It may warrant a new thread! " [More]

"Some very good responses, there are so many "staple" horror movies that once you mention one, you have to mention like 20. In the 90's, movies like "I know what you did last summer" and Final Destination (2000) began popping up. This genre became a sort of "new horror genre" and so many movies like these had success. I attribute this to "Scream," (1996) a very influential horror movie. " [More]

"

Hey you aren't the only one!
I have to admit that I loved The Blair Witch Project a LOT ! It got pretty darn creepy toward the end... I think they COULD have done the ending a little better if only they had showed some brief glimpse of 'the witch'... I liked Book Of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 quite a bit as well. Maybe even better than the first one... But my FAVORITE movie of this type by FAR would be Cannibal Holocaust ... this is the grittiest and most realistic of all of these types of movies and I believe it was the first. This IS 'the movie that launched a thousand lunches' and it will never be duplicated...
Blair Witch would have been much better with an awesome ending! " [More]
