My favorite ideas

"I'm coming to the table late and my ignorance of the Batman universe would truly astound so I'll spare you any false insights. I came up with the same idea as Tanski's suggestion of Michael Keaton's return to the series as the next villian. I think this would be fantastic on so many levels. Of course there are obvious ties such as his over the top performances in the likes of Beetlejuice but I'm thinking a darker more omnious psycho along the lines of Pacific Heights. Or the gum chewing bravado of Jackie Brown & Out of Sight . As for the best description of this character I loved Sammyjankis' summary: The main plot (and villain) is, of course, the Riddler. I'm imagining an older man, a former game show host who has a massive chip on his shoulder because he is the smartest man in Gotham but no one notices or acknowledges it. Thus, it isn't enough to simply pull off crimes, he must do it in a way that proves how much smarter he is than his opponents. Where the Joker saw m ... " [More]
RESERVOIR *STRAW* DOGS

"As much as I love this movie it's fascinating to ponder what would have happened if the script had fallen into Sam Peckinpah's lap circa '69-'74 Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid (1973) Kris has enough of that fatherly/mentor vibe to have pulled this off. I would love to hear his version of the let's go get a taco speech. The Getaway (1972) Junior Bonner (1972) Now this would have been something to see. I think this would have been a cross between Bullit & Junior Bonner. How would he have done the commode story? Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid (1973) This would have been fantastic. "Are you gonna bark all day little doggie...or are you gonna bite." The Wild Bunch (1969) Of all the Peckinpah ensemble this one's the no brainer. Right out of the wild bunch and into the wearhouse. He just grabbed the diamonds and split!? I'm right about that, that's your story? The Wild Bunch (1969) Okay, this one's a different vibe. Holden would still explore all the angles but in a muc ... "The Matrix is too good to remake! Even the Wachowski Brothers who created it couldn't remake it....and they tried twice! So if your going to do it you had best give it a fresh spin ....and so I present: The Matrix A.I. For it is not us who find themselves living in a dream world...it's the machines. Same story...different beings: " " " " " As you can see I've also made plans for any demanded sequels. " [More]

"Filmspotting said we had 'til wednesday?...oh well just for fun..... I'm in sync with the thought that when weighing the pros and cons it would be much better for the Aliens to stay away, but I also don't want to decieve them. So perhaps we could try something that seems to repel girls away from me....and thus I give you: Philip Seymore Hoffman's It's a Wonderful Life Collection 1. Happiness 2. Boogie Nights 3. Owning Mahowny 4. Love Liza Hey wait where are you going?......I thought you said you wanted to learn about life on earth...... but I haven't shown you Magnolia yet......... It's over 3 hours long...... ........... and it's got FROGS! Cam " [More]

"Of The Breakfast Club! In which Bryan Singer decides to give in to his urge to reunite with his most successful ensemble. In a nearly fruitless search for the perfect script he stumbles upon a rewrite of the Breakfast Club. In this revision story elements are basically the same, however, the setting is changed from 9 hours in a detention hall to overnight in a Detainment center. Stephen Baldwin - Andrew Clark (The Athlete) Kevin Pollak - Brian Ralph Johnson (The Brain) Gabriel Byrne - John Bender (The Criminal) Kevin Spacey - Claire Standish (The Princess) Benicio Del Toro - Allison Reynolds (The Basket Case) Chazz Palminteri - Richard Vernon (The Principal) Pete Postlewaite - Carl (The Janitor) <a href="http://www.flickr.com/ph otos/26280691@N07/2466060392/" title="theusual-breakfast_club by cammmalot, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flick r.com/2018/2466060392_da4166cc e2.jpg" width ... "Okay, so redoing Ghostbusters as a comedy is pointless. No matter how good the cast, I just can’t top Bill Murray! So I’ve decided to pitch this as a straight on Horror / Thriller with some humorous elements. I thought the best way to achieve this would be to take some fun actors doing straight forward takes. Director: Christoper Nolan Nathan Fillion ... Dr. Peter Venkman Kevin Smith ... Dr. Raymond Stantz Samuel L Jackson ... Dr. Egon Spengler Donal Logue ... Winston Zeddmore Carrie Ann Moss ... Dana Barrett Bill Macy ... Louis Tully Lily Tomlin ... Janine Melnitz Donald Sutherland ... Walter Peck Ernie Hudson ... Mayor D.J. Qualls ... Male Student Sarah Silverman ... Female Student Luci Liu ... Gozer Eartha Kitt ... Gozer (voice) (uncredited) Tom Waits ... Zuul / Slimer (voice) (uncredited) A Pissed Off Ronald McDonald* ... " [More]
