If you’re curious you should definitely check out Taken when it’s released later this week. The film starts out a little slow explaining how Bryan Mills (Neeson) came to live in LA. He is a former government operative who retired to reconnect with his daughter. He then begrudgingly allows his daughter to go to Paris on vacation. Then, as you’ve no doubt seen in the trailers, she is abducted. That’s where the fun begins. Mills goes apeshit over the next 96 hours in an attempt to get his daughter back. It is fast-paced and exciting and should be enjoyed on the big screen. Definitely check it out!I’m Mike D and I approve this me ... "

"While I don't have any that involve Munchkin Rape I've got a few pretty terrible remakes... "O" - Othello - I know it was mentioned, but you really can't comprehend how terrible this film was. I was living in Charleston, SC when this came out and since it was filmed there I watched it for the local scenery. Wow! It was awful. "Get Over It" - Misummer Nights Dream - When you've got Sisqo and Coolio involved with Shakespeare you know it's bad. Add to that Kirsten Dunst who peaked at age 6 and you're treading in very dangerous water. "Tromeo & Juliet" - Romeo & Juliet - The tagline says it all... Body Piercing, Kinky Sex, Dismemberment. The Things That Made Shakespeare Great "The Longest Yard" - Really... We're going to replace Jim Hampton's classic Caretaker with Chris Rock... Nope. Swing and a miss. "Poseidon" - The Poseidon Adventure - I won't even dignify this with a response. "Pink Panther" - The Pink Panther - Replacing Peter Sellers with Stever Martin = Steaming ... "

So, in honor of that I give you the Star Trek version of High Fidelity: Rob Gordon - William Shatner (Capt. Kirk) Laura - Yellow Alien Chick with Antenas Dick - Walter Koenig (Checkov) Barry - James Doohan (Scotty) Marie - Nichelle Nichols (Uhura) Charlie - Hot Blue Alien Liz - Majel Barrett (Nurse Chapel) Ian - Leonard Nimoy (Spock) Older Customer - George Takei (Sulu) Louis - Deforest Kelley (McCoy) Marco - A Tribble Springsteen - The Cantina Band from Star Ways I realize this is completely absurd, but think about a few things A) How hilarious would it be for Scotty to sing "Let's Get It On" B) Charlie running off with a Tribble because it's gorgeous C) Leonard Nimoy with a pony tail to play Ian. "Top 5 Cult Movies (that don't involve John Carpenter, Kurt Russell or Bruce Campbell) Yes, everyone knows that Big Trouble in Little China, Evil Dead 2, Army Of Darkness, The Thing, They Live, Tango & Cash, etc are F-ing awesome. That's why every time someone makes a top cult movies list a few of those movies slip onto it. Too easy. Try these out. 5.
