Who's Your Favorite Character?
By

A World of MSTies
"I'm not just talking about Mike (or Joel) and the 'bots. I'm talking about the different characters they had on the show like The Phantom of Krankor or Ortega. I really liked the chick from The Undead when she showed up and started changing into different stuff like a jug of bleach...can't remember her name, though. Another good one was the Terror from the Year 5000 chick...Mike's "date." Who are some of ya'lls favorite wacky characters? "

What's Your Favorite Episode?

A World of MSTies
"I've already mentioned that I am kind of a Mike-child and my favorite episodes are from the Mike era...also usually from the Sci-Fi era. Anyway, my favorite episodes include Werewolf and Hobgoblins. I think everyone loves Hobgoblins, though. It's just so damn funny. "Imagine getting beat up by a guy named 'Kevin'..." Good stuff. So, what are some of your favorite 'sodes? "

Little Bundles of ZOMBIE!

Zombie Obsession
"When I was in Latin class, our teacher told us that the worst possible ghost was a baby ghost, since they were all pissed that their lives just started and then ended so quickly. But what about baby ZOMBIES? Gage in Pet Semetary was pretty scary. And those weird little baby zombies in Silent Hill were creepy as hell. There's also the one in the Dawn of the Dead remake...that was just wrong, though. Ew. Anyway, what other movies have had baby (or little kid) zombies? I can't think of any...oh! Dead Alive, duh. Yeah. Gotta love the baby zombie in that one. "

"Ha ha. I just remembered, when looking at the discussions and happening upon this one, I watched The Sixth Sense in the theater for my ... somethingth birthday. My friends and I were being really annoying and loud and for some reason, we started laughing hysterically. Then, I looked back at the screen and this kid puking green stuff popped up from behind a sheet. And, I screamed. Really, REALLY loud. Ha ha ... I suck. "

Re:A Great Show

"Yes, Doc. It is a great show, INDEED. I think I've watched it about six MILLION times and it never gets old. And that's so cool that you have seen the movies in their un-cut form...maybe you can tell me some of the parts they may have edited out for time. I have a couple of episodes that are pre-season eight. And, there's always the MST3K movie with Dr. Forrester doing his crazy thing. The Movie's movie (This Island Earth) was DEFINITELY cut down because the part with the laser and the cat were totally not in the MSTed version. Anyway, I hope people get to talkin' in here and rockin' just as hard about MST3K as I do. Yay! "

"Oo oo! I like Red Zone Cuba, too! That one was so funny..."Night traaaaaain to Mundo Fineeeeeeeeee..." I think that's what he says. Anyway, yeah. I enjoyed Joel's appearance in episode 1001: Soultaker. Not ONLY was that a horrendous movie, it was a damn funny episode. "I usually take my corn black..." Hee hee. I think it should be mandatory for people to watch MST3K...everyone would just be that much happier and giggly. But, back to the discussion, it is kind of a tough choice between Mike and Joel. Joel will always be my idol for creating the show but Mike, I guess, has a special place in me heart. "

The Great Debate: Mike or Joel?
By
FroggyBaBe15876

A World of MSTies
"Well, here it is. The very first discussion! And I think it's a good one. Joel Hodgson, the creator of the BEST SHOW EVER, was obviously the first host of the show up to the middle of season 5. I will always, ALWAYS love Joel Hodgson as he is the mastermind behin the BEST SHOW EVER. However, I first saw the show with Mike in it...I believe the first episode being "The Thing That Couldn't Die"...and, therefore, believe that Mike is the better host. By no means, NO MEANS, am I dissing on Joel. I'm sure he is funny as hell, but I choose not to watch many episodes before season eight, also because Crow's voice changed, so I guess I'm a little bias. But, the few stuff I've seen of Joel's, him being all sleepy-eyed and quiet and dry, I guess he kinda reminds me of...me! And, right now, I'm not a big fan of me, but that's another story. The point is, who do YOU think is the better host, honestly? Mike or Joel? The Great Debate begins...NOW! "

"As many of you might know, I absolutely LOVE Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K). So, I decided to start a group solely dedicated to that show. If you would like to join it, let me know as I welcome anyone and everyone to it. And, I would like to thank the good Doc for letting me "advertise" in this group. Thanks a million, peeps! Cheers! "

"All right. Looks like I'M the one off-topic here. I was kind of being a bitch (go figure) when I wrote that little rant about not liking to talk and that yous guys were big babies. So, I apologize profusely and hope that I am forgiven. I'm really not a bitch. Really. You believe me...don't you? "

"Hmmm...I distinctly remember posting something about Uwe Boll...and now you guys are arguing about "blanket statements." See, this is why I rarely talk in on this website anymore. Because of stupid shit like this. How old are you guys? I'm gonna guess not a day over 12 because you argue like my siblings do over a Monopoly game. Albeit you do use richer and prettier language to get your "points" across, but you're still a bunch of fucking 7th graders. Yay for growing up. "

HORROR MOVIES 101
"I was just reading on the SpoutBlog (here's the link to the article) about director Uwe Boll. If you haven't heard of him, he's the guy who directed such gems as House of the Dead and Bloodrayne. Apparently, there is a petition out to stop Boll from making any more movies. But, Boll said that it would take a million signatures to get him to stop filmmaking. The petition now has about 60,000 blog signatures.Okay. The SpoutBlog makes a good point that if you aren't going to see the movies anyway, why should you bother saying they suck in the first place? Well, here's a good reason: if you've seen House of the Dead, you know that it sucks. Really. Really. Hard. It sucks SO much, that when I, personally, heard that Boll directed Bloodrayne, I crossed it off my "to see" list. He also directed Alone in the Dark which, wasn't necessarily horrible, but it weren't good neither. All the movies he makes, by the way, are usually based on v ... "
