"... Hopefully everyone has seen it by now but I feel the ending really hurt the movie. While watching the film I was impressed how they relayed the "normal" people as becoming a threat on the scale of the insects, I was even ok with the whole military experiment gone wrong angle-but the ending was awful- not that the hero has no hope- its just a bad way to end the story. the book didn't really end on a happy note either, but it was much better. "[I am not a big fan of Hatchet, I was going in with a loftey expectation and was let down, I wish I viewed it before I heard about it. The man behind the Mask -the Leslie Vernon story was a great movie. It takes a bit from the Last horror Movie and expandes it and brings it into the Slasher Hall of fame world (freddy, jason, Mike, etc). I loved the story and pretext and thought the acting was great. If you haven't viewed it yet please do, it is worth the watch. " [More]

"Most Serial Killers do come from a desturbing background. I'm not sure if there is a movie or Docu about him, but, Edmund Kemper's story would make for a good movie. There is also a movie out named Girl next door which is based on a true story that lead me to belived that any one of those kids would have grown up to be serial killers " [More]

"[One movie I really like is an independent film called "Hunting Humans" It's about a serial killer(told from his POV) who is being stalked by another serial killer. a great story but the acting and effects look like something we could do on a computer in a week and a half. But it could be a great movie with some soild acting and money behind it. One remake trend I would like to see stopped is the j-horror remakes. Shutter looks good but the origional is so much better, The Ring is the same way. Ok off my soap box now. " [More]

"Great Vampire movie! It followed the graffic novel pretty closely (but I do like the GN more). This shows that most of the good ideas for any movies right now are coming from the "comic book" world. This was a fresh take on an old villian. and the Idea of this town being trapped with the location and loss of dayligtht was a great concept. I did miss the items left out of the movie; Barlow was not the "head" vampire-in fact, the Boss was not to happy with this whole idea. I also did not like the fact that the two main heroes were seperated in the movie; the GN shows them as a very loving husband and wife as well as the comprising the entire police force. But it WAS one of the best movies I have viewed in awhile. " [More]
