"There is a lot of debate around the coming events of 2012. This movie portrays a doomsday scenario that is probably the least likely to ever happen and certainly doesn't stand-up to scientific scrutiny...HOWEVER, if you can forget that, this is a great movie. The cinema photography and imagry and special effects are top knotch. The story line is nothing unique as it is a typical end-of-world story but you are able to connect with the main character as he repeatedly risks sacrificing himself for the safety of his family. I highly recommend seeing this movie on the biggest screen you can just because there is so much to see. WARNING - If you believe the world is coming to an end in 2012, don't torture yourself by seeing this movie. " [More]
