Personal statement: Hey, discovered spout after watching the film "Four-eyed Monsters" on youtube. This site is a great idea. Living and working in Dublin but from the Kingdom of Kerry, home of the greatest Gaelic football team. Big fan of a good movie. Some of my favorites are Donnie Darko, Butterfly Effect, films like that (recrntly i watched Southland tales, brill film). Also i love a good comedy like Knocked up, superbad, blades of glory etc. Then there is the likes of Lord of the rings, Godfather, pulp fiction etc (the ones nearly everyone likes).

"well i can imagine that alot of people did not like this film but i did. To be honest i knew from the trailer this wasn't a film to take seriously (come on Rose McGowan with a gun for a leg!!!). I acutally enjoyed the way it was put together. Some parts were pretty funny. The way the sex scene messes up and u are in the middle of the house burning is a good laugh. But will you have so many zombie/vampire films that turn out ridiculous just by bad acting/ story etc this film realises it's a daft idea and just acts daft. While this didn't have the classic Tarantino dialouge of Deathproof it also didn't have its dull parts (the women chatting in deathproof was so drawn out). I think it had a better flow than deathproof and all in all i enjoyed both films. If you like Deathproof u'll like this. " [More]

"What can i say abou tthis film? Amazing, mindboggling, genius... i could go on. This is probably my favorite film ever. Had heard nothing about this film then one evening while i was in college me and a mate rented it out mainly due to the weird rabbit on the cover. Needless to say we were amazed by it. First time we sa, hadn't a clue wat is was about. Kept theorising about it during the second, third, fourth time we saw it. Think i finally have a view on the story now.The entire film is a masterpiece. The music in this film is fantastic. Some of it is so haunting which fits perfectly with the story. And what about Frank. freaky as feck. Anyway for anyone who hasn't see this film, i really envy you because you are in for a treat. " [More]

"Pretty unknown film form what i see here. well known film in Ireland. Worth a watch. About a group of irish lads, greyhounds and money. I thought it was funny. Pat Shortt ( a well know irish comedian) was very funny as a traveller. Real irish accents too! :) " [More]

"So my first review. Don't know why i picked this film to do it. Anyway, while this isn't Tarantino's greatest masterpiece (nowhere near the likes of Kill Bill, pulp fiction etc) i must admit i liked it. The way the movie is put together is very different to anything i've seen in a long time and is more like a film from the 70's 80's but i guess that was the idea. The majority of the film is entertaining with some humourous dialogue form Russell and a pretty good car chase. Worst part of the movie was the pointless conversations between the two groups of girls from the movie. It almost put me to sleep and should of been keep to a minimum. All in all if u are a fan of Tarantino's it's worth a watch. " [More]
