"I was looking for the movie Mist (Frank Darabont) on Spout but couldn't find it on here. Was curious about two things, first if anyone out there enjoyed this film. Next in the begining of the movie the main character (who we find out is an artist who paints movie posters) is painting a painting of a gunslinger. So are we to assume that there is a series of movie coming based on the Dark Towers series. If so does it have the possibilty to compete with the likes of say... Harry Potter. " [More]

"Can't state if it is the best movie of the year, because my memory of past movies is shaken. But this is definately my favorite movie for as far as my memory well take me, this year.As you touched upon in your podcast I was both intrigued and intoxicated by the silence. It made everything more real and suspensefull.But I was more annoyed then contented, then you and Matty were by the lack of violence and death shown on screen towards the end. I love the clever ways they showed that the murder was taken. Like him checking the bottom of his shoe, on the way out of the house, for blood after killing the wife. But I wish they would of went back and forth a little bit. Shown one murder don't show one. You are loaded with violence in the begginning of the movie that it feels like they are telling me I can't handle anymore. I saw your point that you were done seeing it, but I who is one who is a horror movie fanatic still had a desire to witness more. " [More]
