Re: your fave director??? & their MUST SEE masterpieces (film)

Takashi Miike is by far my current favorite director for gems such as "Ichi the Killer", "Audition", "Gozu", and the infamous Masters of Horror, "Imprint". These are but a few of his films, but I prefer his suspense/gore/shocker films over his Yakuza films.

I also really like Eli Roth, but NOT for the first Hostel film, but rather for "Cabin Fever". I have yet to see "Hostel 2" as I was greatly disapointed with the first film. What is up with the uber-cheesy "eyeball" scene? Wasn't there enough money at the end to provide better fx? The best part of the whole film (aside from the achilles tendon scene) was the cameo from Takashi.I am waiting for part two to come out on dvd and then I will decide if it was just a fluke or not.
