Description:
The Seattle International Film Festival is an amazing, 3-1/2 week long (usually from the end of May to mid-June) film festival that has been going for 32+ years now. We Seattlites LOVE movies and we love our film festival (we also welcome out-of-towners - not just the celebs - who come to join our celebration of cinema). In the words of the SIFF group (the Pacific Northwest's premier, non-profit organization devoted to the Film Arts), "The Seattle International Film Festival is the largest festival in the US with an attendance this past spring topping 160,000. Running a full 25 DAYS and screening over 400 feature and short films from over 60 different countries, SIFF is considered one of the most influential film festivals in the world." This group exists to celebrate SIFF and hopefully foster some SIFF friendships, so come on in and make yourselves comfortable. More info about SIFF at: http://www.seattlefilm.org/
