Or, I thought it was when I watched it three or four years ago. I haven't been able to watch it again because I forgot the title. Can someone help me out a bit? Maybe someone's seen it?
Basic outline: New boy in school. Social reject. Meets up with three other outcasts: the Slut, the Nerd, and some mousy brown haired girl who doesn't really develop in the movie. They start meeting at a place in the woods together, and one day, Newbie acts as a catalyst for amazing change. There's a rock that is some sort of energy source. It give the four amazing color coded abilities. Nerd is blue, and given telepathy. At one point in the movie, he uses it against a teacher who hates him and tries to make him look stupid all the time. Mouse gets telekinesis and is red. Slut gets the power of persuasion, and is purple. Newbie heals with his greenness.
They enjoy their powers for a while, but then Slut starts going crazy with power. She enslaves the entire town, and only Newbie can defeat her. However, at the end, she manages to hold on to one slave and bits of the magic rock.
Newbie also has a past with his mom. She killed herself, and he relives it frequently.
