Looking for a Film
I'm looking for a film on behalf of my flatmate.
All he can remember is that it dates to around the 1960s or 1970s and that the people in it laundered hot or stolen gold in a very clever way.
Any help would be appreciated.

It was a very clever way, but not clever enough to cause him to remember what the way was?
I'm afraid not. Apparently he saw the movie years ago and the fact that it was "clever" is all that he remembers.

He could be thinking of the original Italian Job. I can't remember how the gold was laundered but it's the only movie I can think of from that time period that involves stolen gold.
