Stitches Midwest
Oh my, oh my. I'm at Stitches Midwest in Chicago. Just took the Labyrinthine knitting class with Peggy New.
Basically it's a way to design a labyrinth design for almost anything, and then you end up knitting the whole item in one long strip that coils togther.to form the cloth/piece. Cool? You bet. It takes a litle planning and a few sheets of graph paper, but then you end up with the most mindless knitting.....
.... perfect for doing while you watch flicks.
See? You were wondering maybe if I had a point?
Tomorrow is lace class, which is decidedly not movie knitting. Maybe sports knitting.
