Dead Clowns
Has anyone seen this modern B movie called Dead Clowns? It actually has a good story behind it about a bunch of clowns that were riding the train through a horrible hurricane, well of course, the strong winds blew the clown train off the tracks and into the water to their DOOOOOOOOM where they would NOT rest in peace in the event of another hurricane (if you hear the Kaliope music through the wind, you are probably going to die)...hee hee. Anyway, it was so bad it was kind of good. It starred Debbie Rochon (one of Gor's favorite actresses, I believe) but she didn't say ONE word through the entire movie just kept running and hiding. That was really funny. AND they tried to make it scary...I think...but when they showed the zombie clowns walking through the house, they would show their big wet clown shoes...it was pretty hilarious, even if it wasn't suppose to be. I just wanted to see if anyone else has seen this movie? What are some other zombie movies that are SOOOOOO bad they are actually fun to watch?

Re: Dead Clowns
That sounds like a pretty sweet/lame movie, Ms. June! I'll have to catch that one some time. I've mentioned this movie in the "Zombie Quote Tag" discussion, but it bears further mentioning here. It's called Dead Heat with Treat Williams and Joe Piscapo. It's so cool! It's about a cop who accidentally dies in a pressure chamber, and then is brought back to life by this crazy contraption built by a weird guy who is funded by...Vincent Price! Woo! Anyway, Treat Williams (whose charater's name I can't remember) is the one who turns into a zombie. There are a total of like 10 zombies in this "zombie movie," but it is quite humorous. It was kind of like watching Beverly Hills Cop, except everybody was dead, basically. My favorite line(s) from that movie, as I mentioned in the "Zombie Quote Tag" discussion goes something like this: Treat: "We've put about 20 rounds into each of these guys! Why aren't they dying?!" Joe: "Maybe they were just flesh wounds...?" Treat, after looking at Joe with an "I will hit you so hard" look: "Would you cover me, please?"

Re: Dead Clowns
I actually own 'Dead Heat', as it came in an Anchor Bay "Fright Pack" DVD box set that's price was waaaay too good to pass up (other titles included 'The City of the Living Dead' and 'The House by the Cemetary'). Vincent Price was wasted (maybe due to age, but if you score VincentFuckingPrice for your V-grade horror movie, wouldn't you use him as much as possible?), and the humor falls flat, but it does qualify for the so-bad-it's-good category. I can't think of a more laughably bad buddy cop pairing than Piscopo and Treat, outside of possibly Frank Stallone and Don Swayze...which I think might have actually happened in some grade-Y action movie.
'Dead Clowns' - I'd watch...

Re: Dead Clowns
Dead Heat was awesome, although not that good. It was just fun as hell. Vincent Price was, yes, wasted. Although he may have done it as a favor, or for a paycheck. So they probably used him as much as they could for the short amount of time he was available. Still, that damn scene in the Chinese butcher shop is as disgusting as it is silly/hilarious. Actually, I just pulled out my copy of The Complete Films of Vincent Price to see what it(and he) had to say about this one. He apparently took it merely because he wanted to work with both Treat Williams and Joe Piscopo(why? Dear god WHY would he WANT to work with Piscopo?!). However, they only had him for three days, no explanation as to why. Dead clowns. I'd watch it too, and I will now go and do some research.

Re:Dead Clowns
I've added "Dead Clowns" to my 'want to see' list. Sounds Great! Although it is NOT a 'zombie' movie, I would strongly recomend a little known flick from 1988 called "Clown House" if you want to see a SCARY 'clown-movie'...
