If you have no one to add, feel free to post a movie they were in that you particularly liked or comment on whomever you like. Does this star remind you of someone? or Do you feel they did better in another role?

Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett seems beautiful and wise.  She seems one moment very real and down to earth and then seems to transcend reality the next.  I remember her in the Horse Whisperer when she was supposed to be the next big thing, but didn't take notice again until Lost in Translation.  She popular now, but are people as obsessed with her as they seem?  The amount of hype she receives borders on hysterical.

Re: Scarlett Johansson

I think she has bonafide talent, of course sprinkling Miracle-Gro on her twins didn't hurt either.

I also remember seeing her in "The Man Who Wasn't There" where she flirts with Billy Bob Thornton. This was a relatively small role though, and not the best showcase of her talents. Hmmm I'll have to rent Ghost World again, if for no other reason than Thora Birch and Steve Buscemi.

Re: Scarlett Johansson

i believe you are  right esp. after she was in a mainstream blockbuster called the island.I prefer her earlier movies and smaller budget independents. Some my other fave movies of hers are American Rhapsody, Girl with a Pearl Earring, and a more recent one called The Good Woman. And before i forget her first ever movie Manny and Lo.Whats your opinion on these movies????

Oh yeah,i did love Ghost World with that very quirky teen story and Steve buscemi,What a character!!

Also Lost in Translation with an fresh and original look about friendship/companionship and troubled relationship without all the scandal and drama .Just plain fun and hanging out. A great original script!!!!!
