Wow. If anyone's been to Japan, you know what I'm talkin about. I had the good fortune of watching the film right before I travelled there last fall, and when I got there, everything I did, I said to myself, "wow. Bill did this in Lost in Translation!" For example, the private Karaoke rooms, the pachinko arcades, the huge gorgeous hotels. The busy (yet clean) streets.
I did find the film to drag on a bit, and wasn't a huge fan of it, but if you want to travel to Japan, just watch this little film.
