Office Space
Office Space is brilliant use of satire.
Cult classic if ever there was one.
If you've ever worked in a cube farm (which I do now...and have for other
employers) you completely understand the humor. For example, it wasn't
until I hit college that I realized what PC Load Letter meant but I totally
understood the 'no cake left' feeling (you know like when you play t-ball as a
kid and the flavor of juice box you want is all gone.)
Now, just trust me when I say this - I really do report directly to two
different bosses in two different departments. Glorious.
It's one of my favorites, and as I sit and stare at the grey walls in the
basement off the office building my cube is on...I often toy with the idea
creating a 'window' seat.
While TGI Fridays got rid of their flair, everything else in this movie is
timeless.
