Hi Christi!

 Actually, I use Typepad, and tried to use both the atom xml feed provided by Typepad, and my Feedburner link, and neither worked.

But I might be a bit confused, so let me run through the steps I used.

To add a recent blog about the film Black Irish to my spout site, I did the following:

I looked up "Black Irish" on Spout, and copied the film page address, which I believe is http://www.spout.com/films/319579/default.aspx

I pasted the link to the Spout site into my recent post about Black Irish on Typepad, which can be found here:

http://popcornnroses.typepad.com/popcorn_n_roses/2007/10/an-indie-film-y.html

I then returned to Spout and ran the Blog program, using both addresses I mentioned above, but neither one saw the link to the Spout page on my Typepad blog. I also tried waiting 24 hours and doing it again,which also failed.

If we can figure out what's wrong, or what i'm doing wrong (which is HIGHLY possible, heh heh), i'm planning to link ALL My blogs to the Spout site, so my blog readers know i'm also very active (or intend to be) over here.

Any guidance you could provide would be greatly appreciated...here's hoping it's a dumb goof on my part....:-)

hey Riss,

Np. Yeah, I actually suggested it because that is the way I take off my own ratings. At this point, the only way to do it is in that list format. I agree that this should be a standard function for the site, but as of right now we just don't have that. I am not sure why, but I will ask our Product people about it.

Christi, taking it off in the list format would be fine by me if it still worked.  But what I am saying is that IT NO LONGER WORKS.  Have you tried it lately?  You can deselect the button "I've seen it" button, but the rating does not go away!

I just wanted to let you know that we got your message and are working on trying figure out the issue.  I will let you know as soon as we have some suggestions. Thanks for hanging in there with us, hopefully we will have it fixed for you in no time.

I see what you mean, the stars go away in the list view, but it still says "I liked it" or whatever your rating was. and then when you go to the film detail page, it still shows your rating. I will report this as an issue for the developers since that seems to be a pretty big inconsistency.

I just noticed something else today.  Look at this link.  http://www.spout.com/groups/quotes/discussions.aspx

It shows that Dr_Gor started a discussion on 11/11/07, but there is no title and no link to click on to see the post.

Pretty weird.
