Re: Technical Help
hey Joem18b, I will try to answer your question as best I can, but I am still a little fuzzy on it myself. I believe that Agg is short for Aggregator which would probably mean the blog aggregator that pulls feeds in or out of certain blogs that people subscribe to. I am subscribed to your blog through a google aggregator which pulls the xml feed from your blog so I see your new posts. Aggviews possibly means that the specific post has been viewed through an aggregator x# of times. I hope that makes some sense. I will look into it a little more for you if you would like. Thanks and have a good day. Christi Spout Customer Care

Re: Technical Help
Do I have to have WIDGET to add movies to my "my favorite movies" list ? I don't see an "add" button. And yes, I'm new to this site. Thanks. Justin

Re:Re: Technical Help
I am having some weird-ass problems this morning, and it may be fixed by the time someone sees this, but it's still kinda odd. On my dashboard, under my group's discussions, are a couple of posts in Spout Mavens attributed to Csprague(one for 13 Tzameti and another for Marion Bridge). But in the groups themselves those posts dont exist, and when I click on Csprague's name to see the items on her profile page, it doesn't take me there. 13 Tzameti, when clicking on her name, takes me to Quint's profile, and Marion Bridge takes me to Demndiary's page. It should be noted they DID author the posts, although Quint's was not in the Spout Mavens group.

Re:Re:Re: Technical Help
Ok, sorry, Quint's review WAS in the Spout Mavens group, I just didnt see it earlier when I wrote that post. Still having those odd redirects, though.

Re:Re:Re: Technical Help
Another frustrating thing. With the recent site update. The actual posts used to list the time and date and also how long ago each post was made. This was extremely helpful to me since I check the discussion boards often and I was able to tell if a post was new to me or not. I would greatly appreciate it if you could get this data added to posts again. Thanks!

Re:Re: Technical Help
A fairly new problem: I enjoy the new discussion format, with email subscriptions and dashboard updates(which isn't really new, just reconfigured), but I'm getting WAY too many emails these days. Just this morning I had FOUR emails regarding the same response to one of my posts. And then when I logged into Spout I discovered that those responses had either been deleted, or never existed in the first place.

Re:Technical Help
Wow yeah Working Dead is right about those links saying the wrong thing. If you go here http://www.spout.com/forums/All_Recent/Default/ScopeFocusViewAll.aspx Which is the link I always go to to see the most recent discussion post, if you look at anything that says "last post by" the following name is wrong on all of them. This is extremely frustrating because I am always looking for my own name as a gauge for the most recent post I responded to. Then I can see what has been posted since the last time I checked. Yeah this latest update really has a lot of bugs. It's totally throwing me off!

Re:Re: Technical Help
Hey Justin, You actually don't need a Widget to add movies to lists. The way you add a film to a list is by first creating a list in your lists area and then by going to the actual film page and clicking on Add to a List which is under the movie poster. You will be able to select which list you want it to be a part of from that pull down menu. I hope that makes sense. Let me know if you have anymore questions. and Don't be afraid to ask, we were all new here at one point. Cheers, Christi

Re:Re:Technical Help
Hey guys, Sorry about all of the issues recently. We have been putting up a new version of the site and some of our improvements in the discussions area have led to issues elsewhere. Thanks for taking the time to report these bugs to us, we need all the help we can get with spotting these things. I reported them to our testing team and we will be working to get those fixed as soon as possible. Let me know if you don’t see them go away in another week or two. Thanks again, Christi
