Ris, it seems to be a bug that made its way in the system. That discussion was started by the guy that is trying to fix it. We should have the bug in submission pretty soon :-) Sorry for the hassle. Ian

popcornnroses:Hi Christi - Thanks for letting me know the status - I hope you guys figure it out soon! :-) TC
hey TC, We are still looking into the problem, but there seems to be an issue with our aggregator with Typepad. we have submitted the issue to the developers, but its tough to say when it will be resolved. I will follow up with you at that point about it. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with in the mean time. thanks, Christi

Re:Re:Re:Re:Re:Re:Re:Technical Help
there used to be ( I say that because I can no longer find it ) a feature that while looking at the data for a film, you could click the director or anyone else involved in the film and then go to a page that shows everything listed for whomever you clicked on. You could then indicate whether you saw the film, or want/not want to see it and rate the individual films if seen. I enjoyed the hell out of that feature, because I like seeing everything a director or actor/actress has done and quickly clicking through the listed films. Don't tell me this feature is gone! or is it just hiding in plain sight ( no doubt )? If it is gone, can you bring it back? please?

Technical Help
Hey Puhnner, I checked into the issue and as far as I can tell you should still be able to access those pages and features. I went to the There Will Be Blood movie page and clicked on the director's name, which too me right to his biography and filmography. What person were you trying it with specifically? It might be a problem with that specific page. cheers, Christi

Re:Technical Help
Thanks for the feedback on the player pages. This issue was caused because there was an error in the html. Unfortunately IE handles this html inconsistancy differently than firefox and safari. thanks for the feedback. this issue among others will be addressed in by a fix release today. Member feedback is making a difference at spout.

Re:Technical Help
Thanks Christi, I hit the There Will be Blood page. The difference is now if you click any of the cast/crew names you are directed to the Bio and Films set in a narrative with the individual films listed and linked within the narrative. Only a few of the director's films are listed above the narrative and these must be clicked individually if you want to indicate what you would like to do with the film. The former link from the director filmography or actor took you to a page set up in a matrix form, listed chronologically showing all the films the person was involved with in any way ( actor/directory/writer, etc...), with links to click back to the specific film, and items to click if you wanted to see the film, were uninterested, and or wanted to rate it. The matrix made it supremely easy to see the comprehensive listing and quickly work through the filmography and then go to specific film pages if desired. For instance Akira Kurosawa has loads and loads of films, but only 5 are shown as icons on his page. Someone wanting to see all the films Kurosawa did would need to work through the narrative and hit each linked film title. I can still search Akira Kurosawa and be directed to Movie pages but this method seems more cumbersome than how it used to be... that separate page listing and icons is what I miss and found very helpful, but hell, I still love this site.

Re:Re:Technical Help
You are right Puhn, I was trying to find this link a couple days ago too and found it was no longer there. Or at least I'm not sure where I'm supposed to be looking for it now if it is still there somewhere.
