unfortunately we cannot download trailers onto personal computers. I believe that they legally belong to the distributor, film company or whoever owns the rights to the film. It is a bummer because there are some pretty sweet ones out there. Sorry- the good news is that we don't take them down from our site, so you can always watch them here. Thanks for the question. Best of luck!

Re:Technical Help
How do I delete a movie rating? I accidentally rated a movie I didn't want to. The way I used to remove ratings in the past was that I would click the button that says "I have seen this movie" and it would remove the rating. Lately the button has been missing from the main page, but it is still present when I bring up movies in lists. I like this button because there are some movies I have seen but can't remember well enough to rate. But today I tried to click on that button, but my rating is still not erased when I do that. Sooooo, how do I delete a movie rating???

Hi Risselada, Unfortunately once you have rated a film you cannot get rid of that rating. You can, however, re-rate that film. I am sorry for the inconvenience, but hopefully this will help. Thanks for the question, best of luck!

Are you completely kidding me? Is it a bug that you are going to be fixing? In the meanwhile, if I give you the name of the movie can you delete the rating on your end? Thanks much

Hey Risselada, Acutally, we are completely serious. You can't remove a rating from a film detail page. And at this point we are not considering this a bug, it is technically an enhancement. At some point we did a build and removed the "Seen it" link from the film's detail page. However, we did find a loop hole for you. If you go to a list that the film is on and you uncheck the "Seen it" link in the list view, the rating should disappear. I hope that helps and if you have further suggestions for the site, feel free to post it in the Feedback group. thanks, Christi

Sorry about asking if you were serious earlier. I realize that was kind of a jerky thing to say. Actually I was aware of the "loop hole". This is actually what I was talking about in post # 21405 above. I think I may actually be the one who brought it to your attention. However like I said it doesn't seem to work anymore. Is there a reason that you don't have an official way to delete a rating you have made? Every other single rating site I use has the option to delete a rating. IMDB, Netflix, Filmaffinity, Movielens. It doesn't make sense to me why you wouldn't allow it to be removed. Obviously people can make mistakes and rate something by accident. And they should be able to change their mind if they feel like they can't make a decision on a rating anymore.

Re:Technical Help
Greetings! I'm working on updating my Spout site, and I want my posts from my blog to auto load in Spout. I've put a test link into a recent post, but it doesn't pick up the Spout link and thus isn't loading here. I know that when I try it says "No (new) post were found" - does this by chance mean that ONLY new posts (IE dated after I set this in my SpoutBLog info) will pick up? Or is there a way to force it to pick up the Spout links? I'd like to go back and link all my movie posts to Spout, and i'm hoping there is a workaround, or someone might be able to explain what I might be doing incorrectly. If I can get this feature to work, i'm planning to include a Spout link in all my future posts. Thanks, TC

hey Riss, Np. Yeah, I actually suggested it because that is the way I take off my own ratings. At this point, the only way to do it is in that list format. I agree that this should be a standard function for the site, but as of right now we just don't have that. I am not sure why, but I will ask our Product people about it. Christi

Hey TC, let me just ask a few questions and then we can see if we can get to the bottom of the issue. What kind of feed do you have? Atom or RSS? Or Maybe a better question is what blogger site do you use? Are the links you are creating within your posts from Spout? In the Feed section under the Filmblog settings it says "Say you blog about Fight Club. Just create a link to Fight Club's page on spout.com " I am not sure if that is what you did or not. Otherwise, if your feed is properly set up and you are correctly linking, it shouldn't matter whether the post is "new" or "old". I have mentioned Spout in my Blogspot blog and as soon as I put the Atom feed into my Filmblog settings it pulled in that post even though it was weeks old. So time shouldn't be an issue. Christi
