Hey Rik_Tod,
Just some clarification. When you mean "unsubscribe from a group" do you mean how do you leave the group or how do you stop recieving notifications from the group?

Leaving the group. As in "no longer having a damn thing to with that group."
Joined it before I knew the guy running it was a class-A something or other. And, hopefully, by leaving it, I would also stop getting notifications from it.

Sorry, this is a long over due response. Xavier isn't working here anymore and I didn't know about all of the thread conversations he had been part of.
Anyway, leaving a group and unsubscribing to discussions is two different things. Joining a group doesn't automatically subscribe you to threads, therefore leaving doesn't unsubscribe you. You would need to manually go into the thread and unsubscribe. Let me know if that doesn't make sense. Or if you have questions.
