Even though this has nothing to do with poker, i thought i'd put this in the discussion group. I saw this movie and thought it was lacking compared to the book. The interpretation of some of the items in the book was off, and of-course, they had to hollywood it up with some backroom beatings, chase scenes, etc.
Still ... worth seeing....

I haven't seen 21, mostly because of the bad reviews, but the plot reminds me of All In, which is about a group of students who pool their talents to try and win the World Series of Poker. Sadly, I didn't finish that movie, so I guess I didn't like it that much.
I'll be glad to see the day when Hold 'Em fades out a little, so we can see movies with folks playing something else, like stud, once in a while. But on the other hand, all the recent Hold 'Em movies wouldn't have been made if the game wasn't so popular, I guess.
