Funniest MA Films.

Which martial arts film is the funniest you've ever seen? Why? :)

Kung Pow comes to mind for me. The whole cow scene was just amazingly ridiculous. Really the whole film had me laughing. Good clean fun. Anyone else seen it?

Saw Kung Pow in the theatre, and my girlfriend loves it, but I can only take it in small doses. But yes, there are hilarious moments in that film, and I actually bought this cheapo DVD called Dual Flying Kicks simply because it had 'Evil Betty' on the cover. The movie sucked, but what're you gonna do?

Kung Fu Hustle had some really great laughs, but also older films, like Buddhist Fist(the arthritic fighter who's knuckles popped with every move he made) crack me up all the time.

Hustle had some great physical comedy. I'll have to watch that one again to remember some of the more hilarious scenes.

I really enjoyed Legend of Drunken Master. For some reason watching Jackie Chan do drunken boxing is just extremely comical to me. :)

Legend of the Drunken Master is one of the best Jackie Chan films ever.

I just thought of this one, and I don't know why  I didnt mention it earlier. Probably because it isn't a strict comedy, but it's so awful, and so completely, crazily over the top, it's hilarious.

Riki-Oh: The Story of Riki

If you haven't seen it, check it out NOW. You might have seen some of the scenes, since a couple of the deaths get used in other things. The original Daily Show had a couple scenes of it spliced into the opening of 5 Questions. It's about this guy who gets sent to prison(in the future, when jails are owned by private companies). He goes up against the corrupt warden, prison gangs, and opium drug conspiracies. The action is HYSTERICAL, with every fight scene literally bathed in blood. One fight has Riki getting his tendon cut in one of his arms, leaving it limp at his side. He ends up tying his tendon back together with his teeth! and then fighting like normal. And thats not even the craziest part of that FIGHT, and there are crazier fights down the road.
