Remake: The Black Hole

Here's another classic which has great potential for a remake with today's CG effects. Please don't get this idea confused with the recent 2006 movie "The Black Hole" which is about a science experiment gone bad causing a black hole to open up over St. Louis *cough* (so bad I might have to watch it). The original Black Hole would be a great movie for an updated fresh look. Thoughts?
