The year's best

Hey, guys! Well, it's nearing the end of the year, and it's getting to the time when everyone is coming out with their "best of" lists. It seems like this year has been pretty good to the younger set (and their parents). I started a list for the best kids's movies of '08, so anyone who wants to put in their two cents, feel free to. We can also discuss your picks here.

Re:The year's best

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I think most everyone would agree that Wall-E was the walk-away best children's film of the year.  I was amazed at how enthralled children could be in a film with a main characerter that doesn't even speak intelligibly.  In addition, the themes of the film were very well handled at a level that I think most any child could understand, but at the same time I think most parents were able to relate without feeling like they were being "talked down" to.

I completely agree. I was impressed with how smart the movie was, as well as comical and dramatic. It was just really beautiful and adorable, like the coolest baby on the planet (mine). You just want to cuddle with it.
