Horror Flicks + Chicks
So, I've been watching a lot of zombie/vampire/horror flicks lately and noticed that honestly, it seems that some of the strongest female roles come from these films, such as Kate Beckinsale in the Underworld series and Van Helsing. However, you also have the helpless/hapless 'stupid girls' as in Scream, Carrie, etc. I'm kind of amazed by this dichotomy... it seems like in some senses horror films tend to be more 'pro-female' but at the same time there are just as many out there that pander to the 'stupid girl' image as well. Any thoughts?

Are you trying to rattle my cage, seely? Did you think for an instant that I would not reply to this?
I have been trying to think (!) and there are not very many Horror Movies that do NOT feature at least one hot chick in a lead role. The Exorcist has three. Psycho has two. Halloween has a few as well as Carrie ...
I think we must all come to terms that young female breasts are attractive and MANY movies pander to this to no end! God bless them!
As for horror movies that feature more than one nice looking female lead, I was going to make a list here but I think it would be easier to just say ALL of them. Just pick your favorite horror movie and I can guarantee that there are at least two hot chicks in lead roles.
