I KNOW this movie but I can't quite place it.... I believe your quote is a little inaccurate, Sweetheart.... I think it should be, "Nobody lives any closer TO town... etc." , or "Nobody lives any closer than THIS TO town...etc." ... anyway, I think we all got the jist of it and I have SEEN this movie! But I am drawing a blank... OK, I am going to take a 'stab in the dark' (pun intended) and say.... was it from "Salem's Lot" ? I think I got that wrong but I had to guess...

No. It is "old school" as you say. Dr. Baby cakes..Here's the hint and it's a good one- they remade it.. ohh about 8-10 years ago (of course not as good as the original black and white) and the remake has Catherine-Zita Jones as one of the characters-

It's The Haunting. Wouldv'e gotten that without the Catherine Zeta Jones giveaway. I'm going out of town for a few days. So, I'll leave you guys with an easy one: "You got a big date tonight Grandpa?" "I'm gonna drop off some of my handiwork with the widow Johnson." "What did you stuff for her? Mr. Johnson?"

DAMNIT! Good one, Polly! I have never seen the remake but I DO remember that line from the original! And I think you had the quote right, originally! Fine job cutie! As for the 'firegod's' quote, I am stumped again...

This is one of my favorite movies from The Lost Boys!! It's just so cute.
