I must admit that it is hard to tell from your vague and almost indecipherable description of the movie but it sounds to me like you might be describing a rather good Sci-Fi/Horror movie from 1980 called   Without Warning (1980).   This one featured a human-hunting alien that launched frisbee-like creatures at his prey that dug tentacals into the victim and sucked out his blood.   It has been a while since I've seen this underrated gem that stars some B-movie icons like Cameron Mitchell,  Martin Landau  and  Jack Palance (!)   ...   This movie was possibly a precursor to  Predator but it was NOT a better movie!    It was certainly a good one but not "Better" ...

HA!  Gor, I'm completely shocked that you were able to come up with a movie as a response to that inquiry.  Sorry jazz25, not to be mean, maybe English is not your primary language, but I could hardly tell what in the world you were talking about!

I think I've heard of that; is it a Greydon Clark?  You just convinced me I need to see it.

EDIT: it is a Greydon Clark. God have mercy on you, Dr Gor.
