A Musical Horror Movie
Has anyone seen Sweeney Todd yet? This has actually been one of my favorite musicals since I was a teenager (I saw the Broadway Production on TV with Angela Lansbury as Mrs. Lovitt). I really thought it was great and a lot of fun. It was so bloody it was hilarious, we just couldn't stop laughing in all the slashing scenes. I also thought Johnny Depp did a great job singing and Helena Bonham Carter was REALLY good as the demented and tragic lovelorn Mrs. Lovitt (I think I'm spelling that right). I just wanted to see if anyone else saw it and what you thought of it...
