ok good topic too!! i have a bit more variety to add to the list. also included are the obvious lucas and spielberg (probobly my favs)but the honorable mentions on my list are in no particular order richard donner(lethal weapon series, goonies, 16 blocks and the toy) tim burton(charlie and choc factory,planet of the apes, batman and batman returns, beetlejuice and mars attacks to name a few) robert zemeckis(castaway, forrest gump, all 3 back to the futures, romancing the stone and used cars) peter segal(the longest yard,50 first dates, anger management, nutty proffesor 2 the klumps, tommy boy and naked gun 33 1/2) tony scott(deja vu, man on fire, enemy of the state, the fan, the last boy scout, beverly hills cop 2, top gun and days of thunder) james cameron(just for titanic alone but also did terminator 1&2 and true lies) and maybe the best of this list oliver stone(any given sunday, natural born killers, jfk, the doors, platoon and wallstreet to name a few) note the list includes just movies i have seen from each director. i almost listed harold ramis for his work on caddyshack and national lampoons vacation too but since he hasnt done much i have enjoyed
