I thought it was funny. I liked it a lot. I guess you can read my review to see what I thought of it.

Re: What do you think of Harold Buttleman, Daredevil Stuntman?
I gave it 4/5, as it did seem to drag on for a while, and some bits wern't really entertaining (I don't know how else to put it), but I enjoyed it, and think it was worth watching. So thanks for publishing it for free, hopefully you will enjoy the $1 spout gave you because of me! For the ending, I reckon he jumped, it makes no sense if he didn't, as he didn't have anything to go back to... Hence why jumping is also a better option, because there are two results: 1. It becomes a suicide attempt, which was what I was thinking when he was giving his final speach, really sounded like suicide note. 2. He makes it, and gets his break. So both are the only two options he would of wanted at that final stage. Also I believe the last dare film was recorded for... what's her name... The blonde girl, the best mates sister... As what he said seemed like it was directed to one person, especially her... Sorry I can't explain better, but yeah. Anyway I enjoyed it, and I'm also a fan of God Inc, so that will be good when that starts up again :)

Cool - thanks for the thoughtful response! Most people think of the cliffhanger moment simply as Harold contemplating suicide. But by jumping, he'd also be doing another stunt - his most dangerous yet - so in a sense, he's still not giving up. I like the fact that it goes both ways.

Re: What do you think of Harold Buttleman, Daredevil Stuntman?
I haven't seen the film yet, but I'm hoping to try and catch it this weekend. This may be taboo, but the similarities with Hot Rod (which I also haven't seen) seem unremarkable. It makes me kind of upset as Buttleman was out there first and it seems like somebody may have taken your idea and got a big budget to make it more popular. So far from what I've heard it seems as though Buttleman, although a comedy, may take a more introspective approach and actually have a meaning, but I feel bad for the little guy here. Good luck Francis!

I think it is a really nice movie... I seemed in the beginning to loose some people because not much is happening...but then in the middle all these bad stuff happen... It gets interesting there... i kinda felt bad for harold... and i would love to see what happens next... if you get this in theaters I think people would love to see this...Good work

I loved it. In fact I'm screening it on MySpace now along with 6 or so other feature films. I hope it gets you some new fans!

Francis, did you get any inspiration on basing Harold on the unfortunate Canadian daredevil Ken Carter who called his doco "The Devil At Your Heels" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0132082 .. I see many similarities between Ken and Harold.
