Worst editing
Ok, I saw this movie in the late 1980's (maybe 1989). This movie has the worst editing I have ever seen. There is a scene in it (at least there was when I watched it) where the kid in the wheelchair is chasing the guy through the woods and you can see the microphone up in the top right corner of the screen. I just thought this was funny and we have come a long way since 1985 in our film making!
Anyone else remember bad editing in films?

Re: Worst editing
Ya, I would say that any and all films with Ben Affleck were edited poorly. Ben in all honesty should have been edited out completly. It seems that films now a days have gotten better at this, because I havent seen him in a while. Whew!

Re: Worst editing
Ha! That's pretty funny! Don't get your hopes up, though. He's probably just taking some time off while he cares for his new baby with J.Ga. (that's Jennifer Garner, peoples).
As to the editing question...well, that's hard. I'm sure that tons of 70s and 80s films have been poorly edited; those decades produced lots of kitschy movies like the one above. Unfortunately, none of them are coming to mind just now.
Hey, would you consider this a teen flick? It's got a Corey...add it to the "In Crowd" if so...

Re: Worst editing
The most famous editing goof up that I know about is the rumored "munchkin suicide" in the Wizard of Ox. Some argue if it's not just an urban legend, but I'm still not convinced. Very grusome. I'm surprised something like that was overlooked, but I guess mistakes happen.

Re: Worst editing
Ok, here is what I found about that, but I am not sure I believe this one either..(source was IMDb trivia)
"At the beginning of the "We're off to see the wizard" sequence, there is a disturbance in the trees off to the right. This was long rumored to be one of the crew (or, by some accounts, one of the dwarf actors) committing suicide by hanging himself, but it is in fact a large bird stretching its wings."
