Help make the lists

Welcome everyone who has joined this group!  I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one reveling in this guilty pleasure...the teen flick.  Call this is a support group or just someplace to say "AS IF," teen movies are fun.  Even the ones that sometimes make you think.  Sometimes.

I've tried to think of everything, but it's really hard, so help it out.  I've covered the Brat Pack, the Coreys, some of the Pop Tarts, and some of the obvious stuff, but I don't remember all of them.

The lists speak for themselves, but here they are:

The In Crowd: lists anything remotely teen oriented.

The Satire: those movies that contain biting commentary about the teen condition. 

Angst: There's drama somewhere in there.

Going Steady: Your romantic situations of any variety.

The Real World: Films that confront "real life" issues, like death and pregnancy.  Sometimes both.

Oh My God, I could just die: Adventure or Horror flicks that jeopardize the lives of our heroes.

Help build the lists!  And remember, stay cool.

You can still put things into the existing lists, though, right?  I can for groups that I'm not a leader of.  Granted, that's only two, and I don't know if there's something special you have to do to make that happen...

Is there a separate list you would make?

I get the motif, but limiting the group to spandex is going to make the list decidedly late 80s/early 90s...unless we want to make a list about fashion trends in general?  Or several lists by decade featuring fashion...? Trying to cross age groups and give it an "ageless" feel while ironically focusing on one age group....?  Any thoughts?

Hey y'all ~

For the new lists, Tiger Beat, Heartthrobs, or What Were They Wearing?, if you add a movie to the list, put a note in the edit part under the movie listing why it is you've added it to the list, in case those teenager-movie-challenged types can't pick up on it. (Or in case those not challenged types who haven't had their morning coffee aren't getting it...it's possible!).

Also, for the "What Were They Wearing?" group, tag it with the fashion trend in question.  It will be informative yet hilarious (or possibly cringeworthy...we'll sort those details out later).
