WTF? Pattinson the Ultimate Badass Vampire?

If you've paid any attention to the Vampire Cage Match this week at spout.com/vampires, you've noticed Twilight's Robert Pattinson is mopping the floor with every vampire he faces.

I could understand his victory over Tom Cruise (Interview With a Vampire), but now that he's crushed Gary Oldman, I think there's something very rotten in Transylvania...

The Vampire Cage Match is about finding the ultimate badass vampire, not the Vampire Most Likely to Get Laid This Week!

What do you guys think? Can Kate Beckinsale pull through? Or have the baddest vampires already been eliminated?

Pattison?  Bad ass?  First, he's two pretty.  Lugosi was so deranged and creepy that Pattison would run out of the room crying if they ever met.  Second, Pattison doesn't drink human blood!  What kind of crappy vampire doesn't drink human blood!?  Arrrgh!  Beckinsale FTW.

What seems obvious is that Twilight fans have a well organized campaign. Oh well.

I think we all can agree that, regardless of the outcome, Max Schreck (Nosferatu) vs. Kiefer Sutherland (Lost Boys) was the must-see match of the week. Really, the millenium.

Did I miss Klaus Kinski in Werner Herzog's Nosferatu?  That guy is a creep in any role!

Honestly, I think that if there was an actual fight between Edward Cullen and Lestat, Lestat would kick Cullen's pansy ass. That's what I think. Sure, Edward looks younger and prettier, but Lestat doesn't pull any punches. Dude is brutal.

Also, I think Max Schreck would teach Keifer Sutherland a thing or two if they actually had a smackdown. Sure, he looks a little wimpy, but I think he'd probably have a few good tricks up his sleeve. Keifer would probably get a little cocky and end up making a fatal mistake.

Yes, Kinski is very creepy as Nosferatu (and in everything else I've seen). 

How about Kinski's Nosferatu vs. Oldman's Dracula? That would be intense.

Snipes got beat by Beckinsale?  Yeah, okay.  If that guy can evade the IRS, I'm pretty sure he would woop Kate's ass.  Guess I should have gotten involved earlier to stop this madness. 

If the theme is vampires from films, it seems a little crazy that a guy from a movie that isn't even out yet (well, later today anyway) is going to win.

I'd also like to mention John Carpenter's Vampires main villian Thomas Ian Griffith, who is probably one of the scariest vampires I've ever seen. 

Personally I think he'd tear Pattison in half.
