Re: Wicker Man
No I don't think its just a movie. I think its a feeling thats going to stick with me all weekend long. A feeling that is going to pop out and scare me when I'm alone, in the dark.

Re: Wicker Man
I found the film to be quite troubling. There's a valve people have who watch a lot of horror. It's the valve labeled, "This is just a movie," and they turn it on when things get uncomfortable. My wife can tell you I don't have that valve. So watching the horrors of what people can and will do to people given the right context, even in a campy horror movie, sickens me.
I noticed Dave and Pam using their laptops as a defense, to distance themselves from the film a bit. So I grabbed mine. It worked. It was a much easier film to watch once I had an excuse to look away.

Re: Wicker Man
I did have my computer as my defense. The film was very disturbing. It wasnt scary like horror scary, just down right disturbing. I couldnt stop thinking about it afterwards. It almost seemed too realistic and not over the top scary like most scary movies.

Re: Wicker Man
Yeah the laptop as a defense thing worked out alright, but I also thought about the movie all weekend. I had to tell my husband about it, so I was forced to relive the story. Then all these weird things reminded me of the movie, but I couldn't figure out why they had reminded me of the movie so then I was more weirded out.
