Were these Superbowl 2009 movie trailers worth $3 Million each?

I'm going to have to go ahead and admit I'm pretty excited about Fast and Furious. I just watched the trailer, and it looks like Vin Diesel is behind the wheel of the venerable and overlooked 1987 Buick GNX, which was, and still is to my knowledge, the quickest sedan Detroit ever built.

Was the trailer worth $3M? Eh. I'm sure they'll get that back in box office returns. I have a feeling the demographic that watches the SuperBowl is strikingly similar to the demographic that watches movies like Fast and Furious.
