Description:

We want to promote the knowledge and awareness of films that keep us informed about current enviromental situations around the world.  With the recent "Green" surge this is something we should all be concerned about.

Or you can just call us the tree huggers.

Who Killed the Electric Car

I finally saw Who Killed the Electric Car (although it is less than a year old) and I have to say the entire documentary simply frustrates me.  I know why big companies do what they do, but at what point od they realize it affects them just the same as it does all of us middle-class shlubs.

What other good eco-films are there?  I've read some good books on the subject and if anyone is interested in corporate domination you should read Confessions of an Economic Hitman by John Perkins.

Obviously An Inconvenient Truth really helped put these types of films into the mainstream a lot more and I would like to help spread some of that even if it is just to the Spout community.

Everyone makes a difference.

I haven't seen either of them.  I'm pretty interested in checking them out though.

Did see this short article though that sort of refutes An Inconvenient Truth
