Gossip: Katie is telling Entertainment Tonight she is ready to have more children with husband Tom Cruise. Since their child, Suri was born, April 2006, they have attempted to lay low on the radar. Katie reports Tom's kids with Nicole Kidman get along well with their younger sibling. Katie states her 44 year old husband played a key role in transitioning easily into motherhood. With all the scientology push debate, couch hopping moments and anti-psychiatry opinions in Tom's past fading......what will the media and public say about a new "TomKat"?

This is really hard to say. Something about that relationship seems so forced and fake. Even when they were kissing I thought it was for show. Of course she might have just been embarrassed to be showing such affection in public...hmmmm. It is really hard to say, but I got the same heebie jeebies when Michael Jackson kissed Lisa Marie on the Music Awards. shudddder... One of my favorite rolls for her (and she didn't have that big of a part) is when she played the slutty, mean fiance of Greg Kinear in The Gift with Cate Blanchett. She did pretty good being wicked instead of the sweet little misunderstood girl. Anyway, we will see what happens. Suri is definately one of the prettiest little babies I have seen. Katie seems like she would be a really good mom, she has that motherly kind of "aura" about her. Tom is a little out there now so I just don't know what to think. I guess we will see...

My opinion is that the general public would agree with your take on their relationship. I think most good hearted people would wish them the best, if not for themselves but now for their child. Although it has been widely disputed that Tom controls her career, I do not think anyone gave a reason why she backed out of the newer installment of Batman. I would like to see her again do roles where he is not on the set, hovering , and even ones that may involve romantic scenes. She is afterall, an attractive young lady. It is surprising that Tom's career has been so resiliant. The Mission Impossible outcomes (despite a reported drop) still did well, I guess we all know negative publicity works as well. Also War of the Worlds didn't financially fare that bad. Marketing in these large scale films and high profile celebrities sure is key. Hopefully Tom treats all his children equally given age and circumstance differences. He certainly seems to publically. We will see what happens. He has one 2007 film in post production and at least 4 more scheduled until 2009.

i liked katie holmes since dawsons creek;some of my favorite flicks of hers is go and pieces of april;i do believe she is a talented actress and a smart girl;the engagement/ marriage with tom cruise did shock me at first because it was so sooon just right after her relationship with chris klein.I do believe you are right about her relationship with tom,;it seems a bit forced and fake;but like you with their new baby and all, i'm hoping everything goes well.I hope that katie maintains her independence especially with her choice in her film career without someone ,always looking over her shoulder.Hoping she keeps up with the quality of choice films that she's always been making and i will be looking forward for her future movies.

I don't have much to say about Katie's recent work (far and few) but has anyone seen her new makeover? She has aged about 15 years, not sure in the business that it is a good thing.
